Charities, volunteer organizations, and nonprofits are all wonderful institutions. But if you’re anything like the typical American, you want to know exactly where your time, talents, and paychecks are going before you can commit to any nonprofit. We at Eveclips know all too well the frugality of those who have limited information of where charitable donations and volunteer hours go.
This is why we want every nonprofit out there to listen up: without video testaments from donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries, you may be missing out on a lot of potential expansion! And we’re not talking about heavily edited, color corrected, state-of-the-art stock footage of Amazonian rainforests or the Sahara desert (although those do have their time and place). We’re talking about brief, candid responses from those who venture out with clear principles and those who greatly profit from their efforts.
With nonprofits, the goal isn’t to either glamorize or demonize the work at hand. The goal is to be straightforward! Therefore, the content that’ll provide the best name for your organization will be videos of individual volunteers sharing a few less than ideal occurrences (such as going to sleep in a tent) affirming how rewarding their volunteer work has been. Maybe the receptors of said work (such as the homeless in L.A. receiving food donations) were skeptical of the nonprofit’s mission at first but then saw how wonderful the people involved were.
No humanitarian work will go smoothly one way or another- let real people share their real experiences, and your organization will be welcoming more benefactors and do-gooders in no time.
